Edwardian Stained Glass

EDWARDIAN STAINED GLASS

These designs see a change not only in colour, but also in the shapes used. As more light became desirable, the stronger lines and colours from the Victorian times were replaced with clear, geometrical backgrounds.

They are noticeably symmetrical and use dynamic, elegant curves and floral designs. In contrast with the Victorian era, the Edwardian stained glass uses a more diverse pallet of textures.
