Residential stained glass windows of the 1920s/1930s are very diverse; the design of the main entrance doors and staircase windows took some of the basic elements and shapes used in earlier Edwardian design, usually with less detail, and often with simpler, but more risqué features, so when looking to create a 1920s/1930s design it is important to look at Edwardian design, although it should be noted that 1930s design is less detailed, elegant and fine.
